Regarding the US bond market you overlook one very important thing. The US and the Fed lies about almost everything. Notably the Cayman Islands always surfaces when there is a need for a US bond buyer. NO ONE ever figures out who that is doing the buying there. How about the Fed or the PPT? The Fed printed around $17 Trillion in late 2019 to ease the Repo madness and NEVER TOLD ANYONE until it was revealed by Wall Street on Parade much later. These guys have (all of them) have very questionable morals and ethics to say the least. Never forget that and never believe what they say when the cheese starts to bind.
